Movies opening in Brazilian theaters in November 2026, week by week
From Godzilla Minus Zero to The Hunger Games, plus a Fast & Furious re-release: the month's calendar so you can pick your screening.

November has a premiere for every taste: a giant monster in the first week, a re-release of an action classic, another trip back to Panem and an adventure about teenagers with magical powers to close the month. The list below follows the Ingresso.com calendar, updated on November 3, and covers Brazilian theaters, so release dates in other countries may differ. Keep in mind the dates are forecasts and may change, especially for smaller films.
Week of November 5
The big name is Godzilla Minus Zero, the sequel to the Japanese film that won the Oscar for visual effects. The story is set two years after the previous events and follows Shikishima, according to Ingresso.com, and the official trailer confirms Ghidorah as the villain, according to Critical Hits. Also opening are O Gatola da Cartola, Os Farofeiros 3, Night of the Reaper and Klara and the Sun, inspired by Kazuo Ishiguro's novel.

Beyond the monster, the week offers very different choices. Feito Pipa follows an 11-year-old football fan who hides his grandmother's worsening health so he won't have to live with his father. Cavalo Selvagem Nove sends CIA agents to Easter Island just before the 1973 coup in Chile. In Assalto à Brasileira, an unemployed journalist helps bank robbers negotiate with the police in exchange for an exclusive story. And Os Farofeiros 3 takes a family to a wedding on a fictional Caribbean island, where the hotel is not what Alexandre promised. The synopses are Ingresso.com's.
Week of November 12
It is the busiest week of the month, with about twenty titles on the list. Among the titles on the list: the re-release of Velozes & Furiosos (the Brazilian title of *The Fast and the Furious*) for the first film's 25th anniversary, Ebenezer e os Fantasmas do Natal, Como Roubar um Banco, Pinóquio: Maldição de Madeira and Miss Moxy, about a cat crossing Europe. For fans of Brazilian cinema and documentaries, there are also Quatro Meninas, Boiúna: Terror no Amazonas and As Benzedeiras. Titles are given as released in Brazil.

With so many options, it helps to sort them by mood. For the whole family there is Super Charlie, in which a 10-year-old learns that his baby brother has real superpowers, plus Miss Moxy, already mentioned. For suspense, Lago dos Ossos puts two couples who booked the same cabin into a dangerous game, and Boiúna wakes an ancient creature in the Amazon. In drama, Quatro Meninas is set in 1885 and brings together four Black girls escaping slavery, while As Benzedeiras is a documentary about five healers from different parts of Brazil.

Week of November 19
The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping is the center of attention, with preview screenings on November 18. On the same date come Ramayana: O Nascimento de uma Lenda, Detetives de 4 Patas and Eu Sou o Rocky, about Sylvester Stallone's insistence on playing Rocky Balboa. If you are going to see The Hunger Games, set aside time: it runs 158 minutes.

Besides the event of the month, the 19th brings Verão da Lata, which starts from cans of cannabis washing up on Brazilian beaches in 1987 and a partnership between police officers, and Malês, a re-release that tells the story of the Malê Revolt of 1835. For the little ones, Detetives de 4 Patas follows a dog in early 20th-century Moscow looking for a stolen jewel.
Week of November 26
The month closes with Enfeitiçadas: Bem-vindos a Hexe, an adventure about teenagers with magical powers, Leviticus: Ritual de Sangue, Tudo Pode Ser Visto, about Elizabeth Holmes, and Fogaréu, set in the state of Goiás.

Among the Brazilian titles at the end of the month, Fogaréu follows a woman who returns to rural Goiás with her adoptive mother's ashes and threatens her uncle's re-election. Yellow Cake shows a nuclear scientist in a secret experiment that uses uranium from Paraíba to eradicate the Aedes aegypti mosquito. And the documentary Kopenawa: Sonhar a Terra-Floresta portrays the thinking of Yanomami leader Davi Kopenawa and the threats to his land.
Concerts and live broadcasts on the big screen
Cinemas also host music and stage shows. Rammstein – Live in Mexico City, directed by Paul Dugdale, opens on November 4 with three shows at Foro Sol in Mexico. On November 5 comes George Michael: The Faith Tour, with restored 35 mm footage of a 1988 show in Paris. On November 6 there is Gustavo Mioto em Inconfundível Tour, and on November 7 a broadcast of a Stray Kids show in Tokyo. On November 26, Starlight Express, Andrew Lloyd Webber's musical filmed in London, closes the list. All of this according to Ingresso.com.

And December?
The big premiere is Avengers: Doomsday, on December 17. Legião dos Heróis also lists Dune: Part Three on that same date, but does not say for which country, so confirm with your theater.

How to avoid picking the wrong screening
Check the date on the listings of the theater near you, because smaller films change days and some open only in select rooms. For dubbed or subtitled versions, the information is on the showtimes page.
